This expedition through the mountains of Colorado is a life changing event. You will learn about the outdoors; physical fitness will have new meaning to you; you will discover new attitudes in yourself and in others; you will make new friends and strengthen old friendships; most important, you will grow spiritually as you become part of the team, serving one another and as you draw closer to God while surrounded by the beauty that he put here. Our trip is carefully put together to keep it affordable. Most of the group equipment is already supplied - tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, stoves, water filters, pads, etc. We get our equipment through several sources - including REI and donations. Our adults are all volunteers. Your cost covers the transportation from Denton to Colorado, 1 night hotel stay, Hot Springs, pizza banquet and food while in the back country. You will be responsible for bringing money for meals while driving to & from Colorado and clothing & personal necessities listed on the packing list. (See "Pack Up!")
